Overview
Sanet Dreyer is a highly experienced Registered Dietitian with over three decades of expertise in hospital dietetics, food service management, clinical nutrition, and private practice. She holds a BSc in Dietetics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Dietetics, an Honours in Dietetics, and an MSc in Dietetics from North-West University, where her research focused on dietary practices in care centres for adults with intellectual disabilities. Sanet further expanded her expertise with a Health Coach Diploma, and she is registered with both the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and COMENSA as a Health Coach.
Throughout her career, Sanet has served in senior dietetics roles at Klerksdorp-Tshepong Hospital Complex, Kopanong Hospital, and later as a lecturer at North-West University. Since 2002, she has been in private practice, currently consulting at Midvaal Private Hospital, where she provides medical nutrition therapy, patient counselling, corporate wellness support, and tailored nutrition education. With strong expertise in critical care nutrition, public health nutrition, and behavioural goal-setting, Sanet is passionate about helping individuals and communities achieve better health outcomes through evidence-based dietary practices.
