Leandra Erasmus

Leandra Erasmus is a compassionate and dedicated registered social worker with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of the Free State and currently pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Social Work at the University of Pretoria. With more than four years of hands-on experience in psychosocial assessments, therapy, crisis intervention, and community outreach, she has developed a strong foundation in counseling, trauma debriefing, and family preservation services.

Her professional journey includes roles at Fichardtpark Primary School, FAMSA Upington, and St. Luke’s Combined Hospices, where she worked with families, individuals, and communities, delivering therapy, group work, and statutory interventions. Leandra is skilled in grief counseling, trauma support, crisis management, and psychosocial care planning, with excellent communication, empathy, and leadership skills. She is fluent in English and Afrikaans, registered with SACSSP (2023/2024), and committed to improving community well-being across South Africa.
