Dr Samith Kalyan

Dr Samith Kalyan is a South African medical doctor known for his calm, compassionate and evidence-based approach to virtual care. He graduated cum laude from the University of the Witwatersrand, completing his degree with multiple distinctions and finishing third in his class. He later achieved a distinction in the FCP (SA) Part 1 physician examination. His clinical foundation was shaped at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, where he gained wide-ranging experience in both medical and mental-health care within one of the country’s busiest and most demanding environments.
