Dr. Pheliwe Phelokazi Mazula-Kironde is an experienced Medical Doctor and Clinical Manager with over 17 years of service in both public health and private practice. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (Walter Sisulu University, 2006) and a Postgraduate Diploma in HIV & AIDS Management (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2013).
Her career spans across major hospitals, including King Edward Hospital, Frontier Hospital, GJ Crookes Hospital, and Ekombe Hospital, where she served in roles ranging from Medical Officer to Clinical Manager. Currently, she works as Clinical Manager for the HAST Department (HIV, AIDS, STIs & TB) at GJ Crookes Hospital, while also managing her own part-time private practice.
Dr. Mazula-Kironde has extensive expertise in primary health care, HIV/AIDS and TB management, maternal health, minor surgical procedures, and emergency medicine. She has also played a pivotal role in policy development, clinical governance, staff mentoring, and quality improvement programs.
In addition to her clinical work, she is an entrepreneur offering skin care and hair restoration products, and a humanitarian involved in the Eastern Cape Medics Unity Foundation, working to strengthen healthcare delivery in underserved areas.
She is known for her patient-centered care, leadership skills, and commitment to improving public health outcomes across South Africa.
