Overview
Mmathabo Rangoshe is a highly experienced registered social worker (SACSSP) with over two decades of professional expertise in counseling, community engagement, and psychosocial support. She holds a BA in Social Work from the University of the Witwatersrand (2003), has completed advanced qualifications in Project Management, Management Development, and Outcome-Based Assessments, and is currently completing her Master’s in Public Management at Regenesys Business School (2025). In addition, she holds a certificate in South African Sign Language, enabling her to serve a wider range of clients with sensitivity and inclusivity.
Her career spans leadership and direct practice roles, including serving as Community Engagement Manager at The Aurum Institute, Counseling Services Manager at Community Aids Response, and founding Mathran Consultancy, where she currently provides trauma debriefing, psychosocial services, coaching, and mentoring to students and professionals. Mmathabo’s expertise includes trauma counseling, behavior change workshops, NGO capacity building, employee wellness, HIV/AIDS support services, and community outreach. Fluent in English, isiZulu, Tshivenda, and Setswana, she is committed to holistic, client-centered care and empowering individuals, families, and communities to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable well-being.
