Pakama Lugogwana

Pakama Lugogwana is a highly qualified and registered Clinical Psychologist (HPCSA Reg: PS0138312, Practice No: 0953954) based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. She holds a MA in Clinical Psychology from Nelson Mandela University, a Bachelor of Psychology (Counselling), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from the University of Pretoria. Over the years, she has developed extensive expertise in psychotherapy, psychometric assessments, forensic evaluations, risk assessments, and psychoeducation.

Her career spans both the public and private sectors, including roles at Ngwelezana Hospital, Qalakabusha Correctional Centre, and her own practice, Wellness Centred Therapy, which she founded in 2022. She has also contributed to academic development as a mentor to undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students, and has experience in community mental health, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, programme design, and supervision.
