Denisha September

Denisha September is a registered counsellor (HPCSA, PRC 0038440) with over five years of experience in mental health, specializing in supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and school communities. Currently serving as a Preparatory School Counsellor at Reddam House Waterfall City, she provides individual and group counselling, facilitates Life Orientation support, and manages high-risk cases requiring emotional containment. Her expertise includes trauma-focused CBT, bereavement counselling, solution-focused therapy, and employee wellness workshops.

Denisha also maintains a private practice and has extensive experience in EAP services, trauma debriefing, play therapy, and presenting mental health workshops. She has volunteered with the Psychological Society of South Africa, mentoring students and chairing multidisciplinary committees. With a strong academic background, including a Master’s in Social and Psychological Research from the University of Witwatersrand, Denisha is committed to fostering positive mental health, well-being, and resilience among her clients.
